FECS/FRCS 30-1000 MHz and 350-2500 MHz series

These modules allow TV signal transmission in UHF bands over single mode fibre. They can be integrated into the racks ref. FCCS152120 or ref.  FCCSx5912S-4TX1FX series (consult us for this last reference)

Specifically designed for remote TV signals, the modules are equipped with F-75Ω access connectors (BNC in option).

The equipment has been specifically designed for:

• Mobile installations
• Antennas connection

The module operation can be monitored by the chassis equipped with the appropriate firmware.
The chassis supervision access allows through the Ethernet network to:

• Check the operating parameters of the modules.
• Adjust the gains of the input or output stages modules.
• Enable an automatic optical loss correction mode on the receiver.
• ….
  Other combinations of gain transmission, optical power, RF performance can be studied on request. CWDM conversion on request.

• Transmission of point-to –point RF signals over single-mode fibres up to 25km

• Bandwidth of the signals according to the references of the modules:
  • VHF-UHF between 30 and 1000MHz
  • UHF between 350 and 2500MHz

• Low noise factor for low level signals processing
• Adjustable gain preamplifier on the optical transmitter
• Power supply of the antenna by the coaxial cable on the optical transmitter (optional)
• Adjustable gain values ​​on the optical receiver in fixed mode or with automatic correction of optical losses
• Up to 5 RF channels transmitted by the 19”1U rack
• DFB laser isolated at 1310nm. Other wavelengths can be proposed
• Supports up to 10dB of optical line statement, to cover distances up to 25km
