IFOTEC products also travel internationally!

Well implanted for more than 24 years in the fibre optics transmissions market in France, IFOTEC has also exported its solutions (Ethernet media converters, Ethernet switches, Data range…) internationally. Our equipment won over customers in many countries, in particular thanks to their reliability for harsh environments and electronically disturbed environments, and for its adapted et effective functions.

Here is an initial international overview of some of our recent international achievements, for diverse variety of applications.

SLOVAKIA

Destination Eastern Europe ! To ensuring data transmission, our Data range “HXD” has settled in ski resorts of Slovakia’s Carpathian Mountains.

Our products are used into skiing resorts to ensure secure transmissions of information, for example:

  • Snowmaking management: regulation of snow cannons via fibre optics
  • Control/Command for the functioning of ski lifts.

Switching on another continent, to Morocco, where our Mini Giga (Gigabit Ethernet media converters) has been chosen for the peripheral video protection system surrounding Mohammed V airport in Cassablanca.

In video protection systems on sensitive sites where fibre optic is installed, Mini Giga Ethernet media converters, ensure reliability in data and images transmissions at speeds of up to 1 Gigabit per second (Gbps). They are perfectly adapted to remotes with high resolution and video quality. Images and video are quickly transferred in real time, which is essential for continuous surveillance and capturing important details.

The 25000th CPEFibre has just been produced for the SIEA’s Li@n network (Ain) ! IFOTEC has always worked for the reduction of digital divide and the reinforcement of the attractiveness of the territories by designing solutions for the activation, multi-operator multi-service of #FTTx networks.

Our CPEFibre Gigabit Ethernet modules, installed at the subscriber’s premises or in the immediate vicinity, provide very high speed access for businesses (FTTO/FTTH access) or individuals (FTTH) that can be shared between four independent operators.

The CPEFibre module is not only a product but a broadband access system for the subscriber that includes fibre management functions for the connection.

For more than 12 years, the CPEFibre is the symbol of the close collaboration between IFOTEC and the Syndicat Intercommunal d’énergie et de e-communication de l’Ain (SIEA).

After the success of its 100Mbps mini media converter, IFOTEC launches the Mini Giga

Plug and play, it adapts to your needs

Mini Giga has been designed like all products in the Ethernet range to be as compact as possible. It can thus be easily integrated into outdoor network interface boxes dedicated to video surveillance applications, for example, or traffic management.

The new IFOTEC media converter is particularly suitable for hostile environments since it can be used without problem in electrically disturbed environments or in severe environments with temperatures between -40 ° C and + 75 ° C.

Mini Giga is equipped with an RJ45 port and a cage for copper or optical SFP module. The wide range of IFOTEC SFPs allows users to connect the IFOTEC media converter to both multimode and singlemode fiber and choose the wavelength appropriate to their need.

With an extended power supply from 9 to 60VDC, the same module can be used both in applications requiring, for example, a 12VDC voltage as in applications requiring a 48VDC voltage.

For the creation or extension of your video surveillance networks over optical fibre, IFOTEC offers you to transfer all the signals from your analogue cameras over a single optical fibre!

Our solutions: For your fixed or mobile cameras, only one device

The HXQ-4V2D-VB and HXQ-8V2D-VB series carry all the signals necessary for the operation of 4 or 8 fixed, mobile cameras, PTZ cameras or domes over a single optical fibre. The HXQE transmitter multiplexes up to 8 video, 2 identical bidirectional data and a digital alarm on a fiber optic. The HXQR receiver demultiplexes these signals.

This new range is perfectly compatible with the previous HMV-xV and HXQ-xV2D ranges.

For more cameras extension, thanks to CWDM multiplexing, it is possible to insert on a network up to 8 video and data devices on a single optical fibre.
